things are going well for me. i've been teaching for about a month now. i love being a teacher in a catholic school. i never thought i would like it so much. i don't want to teach in public schools now :)
i've been living at my aunt's house, and about half an hour ago i got a call from someone who wants to offer me an apartment. it's not far away from work, and not far away from my aunt's house. i'll be living on my own for the first time.
to anyone who's older and wiser: any advice on how to live on $400 a month after taxes and rent?
hey, everyone. if you prayed for me after reading the last entry, thank you for your prayers, because i got the job i was just interviewing for! so exciting! i'll be a real teacher, and i'll have to relocate too. i'll see how that works out.
i'm not so much reading this book-- it's a book of exercises to practice on guitar. hopefully it will get me playing again, and i can get good at it. i mean, wouldn't i make a cool rock star?
i started going to a bible study at my church. we're studying the book of matthew. it's not what i thought it might be, but i'm learning a lot.
for those of you who pray, i could use your prayers: i went on a job interview on wednesday! i hope i get the job. it seems like it would be good for me. it's a part time -- yet permanent -- teaching position at a catholic school. i think a catholic school would be a good environment. pray that things will go well for me, preferably that i'll get the job. i feel i'm at the end of my rope in many ways. i've got to keep my dream of being a math teacher alive.
